Vilaage Font Family is a serif display font created by Fred Wiltshire with a modern, classy, fun, unique and versatile style. Its design derives from the lettering found around Hackney Village, just north of Victoria Park in East London. The lettering found around the Village ranges in width and weight, but are unified by ornamental and luxurious characteristics, predominantly the drooping crossbar found in the A and H – these are reflected in this typeface.
Vilaage comes with 5 pre-set styles, from a thin sans to a bold slab serif and everything in-between – each one imbued with character and movement. The regular weight reflects the most common style found around the Village, with flared serifs and generous proportions. The accompanying styles complement the regular weight and offer the user a wide array of possibilities, removing the hassle of finding the right typefaces to pair it with! It’s intended for display use but still performs well at smaller sizes.
Vilaage Font is free for personal use. So, if you want to access more features and its full license contactFred Wiltshire designer
