Homie Font Family is a sans serif font family created by Ethan Nakache with a basic shape, simple and clean design. Originally inspired by French humanist typeface from the 20th century, the design grew into a personal interpretation of this classic style of historic typefaces.
Homie is a humanist sans serif font family exploring the intersection of humanist and geometric designs. Making this typeface family suitable for both reading and display. It combines both of these features, offering a balance of legibility and originality. Homie’s intent was to tend to a more geometric approach inside a humanist design. As the style grow bolder, the geometric features are less stated and tend to give the shapes the place they need to occupy space.
One of the key features of Homie is the change of contrast between its weights. Lighter styles feature a low contrast in the counter shapes, making them more legible in text, while bolder weights have a higher contrast, making them better suited for display uses in graphic design. This gives Homie a unique attitude, and spirit, a growing type family of 18 different styles and matching italics, Homie is ready to be your trusty sidekick in every design endeavour.
