The computer fonts Cheapskate Outline and
Cheapskate Fill are 1998 Harold Lohner.

These were originally stamped and scanned
from a cheap set of commercial rubber stamps
I've had since college.

The lowercase positions contain alternate
stampings of the caps. Use your Key Caps
utility to find even more versions of each
character for a random, handstamped look.
(These are most often located at the option+
and shift+option+ positions.)

In a page-design program like Quark or PageMaker,
create a block of text in the Cheapskate Outline
font. Copy that block of text and paste it directly
over the first. Then change the font to Cheapskate
Fill and change the color or percentage. Voil!
The effect of using felt tips to laboriously color
in rubber stamping.

Cheapskate Outline and Cheapskate Fill are shareware.
Shareware is not free. It's the honor system, though,
and you only owe me a bit. Install and play with
these fonts to your heart's content. If you choose
to keep them, to work with them, to use them in
print or digital publications, I expect to get your
$5 for both in the mail. Send to Harold Lohner,
821 Park Avenue, Albany, NY 12208 USA.

If I get your $5, I promise I'll send you
something else. So why steal from an artist?
